Uh… about 2 weekends ago Amanda, Joey, and I decided to go to LA. There were more photos but I’m too lazy to upload all of them. Anyway so we planned this trip within a week and happened to have a blast with such short notice. TAKE A LOOK…

November 2-4, 2012
Friday:
We chilled in Hollywood bar hopping then stumbling across a random club that played top 40′s. Amanda and I witnessed a bunch of Joey Diamond lingerers that would not leave him alone. Which was okay with us because they kept buying us drinks. Then as we were dancing and getting jiggy with it some little fucker decided to throw a glass drink at Joey… I’ve never seen Amanda get so hyphy before, until she slapped the bitch who threw it. So we left then chilled at this random park laughing about the night, trying to sober up. Then we went back to our hotel and ordered pizza and started raging again…

Saturday:
We went to Disneyland and California Adventures & we functioned all over the place. As you can see…

HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHA OMFG…

Sunday:
We ate at Roscoes in Long Beach. It was only right to stop by this place since none of us have been there. Amanda and I came to conclusion that Home of Chicken & Waffles in Oakland was better. Call us crazy, but that’s just our opinion. After that we went to Lalo’s house to charge our iPhones and shit. Then it turned into a photoshoot… Then we went straight to Venice to linger and eat. It was awesome!

Went to a carnival last night with Joey. It was pretty random, we literally passed by this place on our way home from Emeryville Sunday night and we immediately wanted to take pictures here sooner or later. SUNDAY FUNDAY:

Consisted of Amanda and I hanging out from morning to night. I usually always get super excited when I know we’re about to hang out. Mainly because we stay cracking up at our corny ratchet jokes. But what really gets me excited is this positive vibe I always get from her. She’s one of my really really really best-est friend’s that I have. Had an awesome day… Due to the fact that I purchased my very first car which made me feel like a real adult haha. No lie. Anyway I hung out with my best friend Bernice and got tapioca express when I got home, which then lead to catching up since we haven’t seen each other IN SOOOOOO LONG. I had no idea she wanted to take pictures of me so I kinda just wore what I wore to the dealership. My outfits have been really sucky lately, mostly because I have no time to shop, and I just really haven’t been too inspired lately. In these pictures I am wearing a thrifted hawaiian button up, a vintage acid wash jacket, Zara circle skirt, American Apparel socks, and shoes from Wasteland.

BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS FOR THE GIRLS:

Sorry for the major delay, however school has probably already started for all the high schoolers. My advice in advanced is to get a really durable and unique looking back pack, and to get socks. I don’t know why but whenever I usually put together outfits I happen to add socks to almost everything.

The reason why I chose most of these outfits is because it’s a mixture of many styles involving: preppy, grunge, street wear, and girly looks. If you haven’t noticed my style isn’t very consistent due to the fact that i go based off the weather and mood.

I used to always get sent home for wearing inappropriate stuff in high school. My shorts were either too short, or my tops were too cropped. I’d always tell my principal that “ITS A FASHION STATEMENT! IM NOT A SLUT” However girls do not use that as an excuse I learned my lesson. HAHAHA. Therefore stick to chiffon button ups and high waisted anything. It’s simple, clean, and gets the job done.

REMEMBER DONT BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT.
Shoot I remember in high school I went thru so many phases. I was shopping at thrift stores (before they were the hype) while all the girls were at Forever 21 rocking Nike’s. Don’t get me wrong I love both those stores, but mix it up. Which is funny nowadays because I see people wearing things they used to make fun of me in high school for wearing.

Lately I haven’t been dressing up where ever I plan to go… I haven’t even shopped in A VERY long time. Which I’m perfectly fine with because I have a ton of shit in my closet which I totally neglect, that is now being put to good use. I’ve worn these floral cut offs like twice.. Once in Vegas and once in my OUTFIT CHANGE video.

Last Sunday Amanda and I were able to hang out and catch up. The last time we saw each other was at my graduation party in June. So I met up with her at her house then went to get shave ice downtown. I finally got to see her new Mini Cooper named Smurf. SOOOOO CUTE it looks just like Amanda jk <3 So we cruised around downtown soaking up the sun and took pictures while we embraced each other with love. It was awesome because we finished our date off with planning our Hawaii trip and getting In-N-Out. Anyway more to come from your favorite lovers.

NEVER SEEN A GIRL THAT CAN LIVE UP TO THE HYPE

Okay before you begin to look at these pictures these were all taken sometime in June-July. However better late than never right????? I was dropping my files in my hard drive and came across this folder and remembered I didn’t do a blog post for these nights. OOPS. Anyway these were photos taken at J boog’s shows in SF and Sacramento. The Mezzanine show was my first Reggae show EVER. And the experience was beyond crazzzzzyyyyy. You’ll read about it later in this post.

This night was RARE. I remember my cousin called me out of nowhere and was asking if I wanted to go to this show in Sacramento. It was for her boyfriend (J-boog’s) band’s show. They are called The Hot Rain.

You know… I was just sitting on the couch minding my own business then Lalo comes and squeezes his little booty next to me. His eyes are always closed -___-

The first thing he said was “do you want a shot” I automatically became friends with him after that. Then he took my phone and started taking pictures with it. Young playas are taking over.

You know what was soooooo freakin funny about this night? Was the fact that I wasn’t even gonna go. Because I had just gotten back from Vegas and GOT SUPERRRRR SICK. I remember when my cousin Cindy was texting me for guest list and I told her “NO” hahah… Then what happened? I ended up going like a soldier. WHAT EVEN RIGHT? But it was sooooo packed. I had never seen Mezzanine that packed before. I was not used to this scene mainly because it was my FIRST reggae show. Made friends with a bunch of Poly’s and Samoans. Although some were very aggressive and mean to lil ol’ me.

But over all I wanted to support my cousins boyfriend as well as spending an epic weekend with my other cousins I hardly ever see. MY SISTER GOT SOOOOOO DRUNK, IT MADE MY NIGHT 10x even more epic.

Originally I gathered most of my fashion inspiration from Homme Models mainly because they’re gorgeous to look at. Most models have different styles varying from High Fashion, to laid-back.

Not gonna lie Drake’s style isn’t too appealing. But that photo is pretty much on point. If you’re a guy and you don’t have any chambray button ups your wardrobe is lacking. They go with pretty much anything, and you must own a gold watch. Haha.
